Pre-departure drink was not given this for this flight. Service in the air started with aperitif, with a packet of tasty peanuts. I liked it so much that I asked for a second packet. The flight attendant promised to come back with it if there were extras and she did come back with another packet. This is where the strange service began. An enormous meal was served at close to 9am local time, suitable for breakfast or brunch. The tray is wrapped in a unique manner with a huge plastic envelope over it. The tray consisted of tomatoes and cucumbers, tasty sweet cherries, a small cold samsa, some processed meat with an olive, a packet of dried apricots, bread, butter, jam, cheese and a packet of mustard. All of those items tasted pretty good. Dessert was a sweet cream cake. There were 2 choices for the hot dish. Chicken or beef. I had the chicken option, which is a slab of deep fried battered chicken breast, flavoured rice, peas and a tomato. It tasted pretty good despite its unappealing visual appearance.

Equipment: Uzbekistan Airways has an inconsistent economy class product on its B767s. This plane, UK-67006 has dcent entertainment options. The inflight entertainment consists of Russian or Uzbek movies, some old French movies and 5 English movies. I watched 2 out of the 5 and that made for a less boring flight.
