Lunch - Chef's Salad; ham, turkey, cheese [two types], hard boiled egg, three olives [green, black, Greek], cherry tomatoes, with honey dijon dressing. (Menu Card)

Bloody mary and an interesting Australian [Buckley] wine that was 65% Cabernet and 35% Merlot. Coffee later with the warm cookie.

I am growing accustomed to UA's cold plates on these relatively short trips. Seems like every time lately they have offered a different type of salad in addition to the standard deli plate. Service was excellent due to the fact that there were some empty seats in FC, which is a rarity out of Orange County. Sure, UA has been cutting-back inflight service [just like everybody else] but at least they are trying not to make it appear too obvious.
