type: Lunch - A warm sliced turkey/chicken(?) breast sandwich served on a foccocia like bread with a very few grilled/cooked red onions. Served with a generous side of mayo and included a dill pickle spear, cherry pepper with a slice of tomato. Had this very tasty sandwich been served in a restaurant I would deduct a bit for the soggy layer of bread next to the meat, but hey this IS airline food. A cold salad of mixed color pasta with pine nuts. Mixed fruit bowl included two types of melon, pineapple, a strawberry, and a few seedless red grapes. All fruit was ripe and nicely sweet. Dessert was a light (cake style versus creamy) cheesecake with a chocolate (cookie?) crust and a chocolate topping drizzled with caramel and a few walnuts.
