Rosemary breadsticks together with the drink of your choice were offered as the apéritif. Then, for the main meal, SWISS has introduced the option of pre-ordering your desired entrée free of charge on short/medium-haul flights in Business Class. On this occasion, there were 7 entrées to choose from, and I ultimately went for the coq au vin with spaetzle and cabbage. Also on the tray were a salad with parmesan shavings (plus some vinaigrette dressing), a couple of cheeses and a chocolate and banana-based dessert. Bread rolls and butter were offered separately from a basket, and a small chocolate was offered along with your coffee/tea.

A glass of champagne as the apéritif. White wine and water with the meal; orange juice and tea afterwards.

I like the fact that SWISS has introduced the option of pre-ordering your desired entrée on short/medium-haul flights too (in addition to long-haul ones), and it was a pretty tough choice! With that said, I think I made the right one, because the coq au vin was simply phenomenal! The roll was fresh and crispy too, and the dessert was also rather nice. The only things I didn't enjoy that much were the cheese and the salad, but that's just a matter of taste (I don't like strong cheeses, whereas salad leaves I just find boring). Kudos to the cabin crew as well, who was attentive and delivered top notch service!
