From ultra long haul to regional hops, Saudia has been serving this Biriyani dish in economy for at least a decade from what I've seen online. That said, the flavor is great. The only problem is, you must mix the dish VERY well (I did this on my return trip later) to spread out the flavor, otherwise most bites are a bit bland while some punch you with flavor. Rice and chicken were both cooked well, not overdone and the taste was good. Bread roll was fresh, salad was just OK, not really my thing. Now, the desert? 10/10. So delicious I'd buy it at a store anytime if I knew where to get it! Service is always great on Saudia, as is the legroom and seat comfort. The 787-10 has a little section behind Biz class which is meant as a premium economy section, but instead offers just a few rows of regular economy which are kept isolated from the crowds of the rest of the economy cabin.
