This is the second hot meal on QR816, referred to as lunch/dinner. Again, Emirates would not serve two hot meals between DXB and HKG, and so I am really impressed. My only complaint if any, would be that there are only two slithers of vegetables in the hot dish. However, the pea/carrot salad was enough to make sure the passengers had a healthy gut on the plane. Pictured here is wok-fried spicy chicken with steamed rice and garlic Asian veggies. As always, the bread roll on Qatar Airways is warm. This is the third meal I was having on Qatar Airways within 14 hours. Honestly, whether it is the breakfast yogurt or dessert at lunch/dinner, it is kind of the same take with some mousse thing and coulis/jam/jelly thing sitting on top. I am OK with this, but I suspect there are passengers who get tired.
