First Class

Dinner , Special meal: no
Crinkled, un-ironed cloth put onto table, not even settled at the corners. Services was half-hearted. ENTRE - Pumpkin oriechette and asparagus in a pea jus. Just horrible. Tasted like it had come out of a tin. No depth, no subtlety. Pasta was rubbery. Didn't eat much of it. MAIN - Lamb roast with vegetables, parmesan potato, salad. Again, just horrible. Meat was overcooked, underheated, rubbery and tough. No subtlety or finesse in any of it. Gave up after two bites. I can't remember the red wine I had because there wasn't a printed wine list that made it onto the flight, so all we could do was order after being told by the cabin server. Just a horrible, horrible meal on a paid (very expensive) First Class Ticket. What is Qantas up to? I flew back on code-share Emirates (what a difference).

Red wine.

One of the worst International First Class meals I have ever had. Shame on Qantas.

Equipment: First Class Suite.   //   Other: Hugely disappointed by the offhand service and the appalling food for dinner. Life your game, Qantas! My connecting flight was with Singapore Airlines and the SIA menu and food in First was glorious, and highlights just how far Qantas has slipped.
