This is an afternoon flight so you don't really need a full meal, especially if you have been to the Qantas Business lounge beforehand. We were travelling on award seats via another airline. Not sure if that's the reason we were served last or because everyone else was Qantas status travellers. We missed out on 1 of 3 options. We were offered an Indonesian rice dice or pea and ham soup with bread which is what we went for. The soup was fine. Big chunks of ham were added to it. A block of chocolate was all on offer for dessert which was fine as it was a decent quality. While it was fine, I would have prefered an afternoon tea or cheese and crackers for this time of flight.
