Supper and Breakfast (Menu Card)
Supper (not pictured): Entrée of Malaysian Satay with a choice of charocal grilled chicken and beef topped with a spicy peanut sauce. Assorted main courses (can’t remember – too tired and wanted to sleep ASAP). Breakfast: Juices, yoghurt drink, muesli, seasonal fruits, choice of baked goods with jam or honey, Nasi Lemak (Malaysian coconut steamed rice with prawn sambal, cucumber, fried peanuts and hard-boiled egg), accompanied with assortment of vegetables including asparagus with hollandaise sauce and baked mushrooms.

Malaysia Airline’s signature dish of charcoal-grilled Satay (voted Skytrax Best Airlines Signature Dish 2003) is always memorable – flight crew kept pressing us to have more Satay as the cabin was very empty. Cabin staff were also very obliging in bringing me a large bottle of water so I didn’t have to bother them during the night. Use of Golden Lounge in Kuala Lumpur was also a nice touch while waiting for our flight KUL-SIN at 0805.
