Had it not been for the airline plastic containers fitted snugly on the tray, this meal could pass for hospital food. My hubby stared miserably at his serving of unappetizing boring, bland chicken dish with sauce that remains yet to be identified. The dressing of the cold shrimp salad was watery and the baby shrimps itself had a fishy smell. As for dessert, there was this chiffon roll stuffed with a fruity cream filling. After this meal, I just convinced him that high altitudes dulled one’s taste buds and a plane is certainly one of the few places where picky eaters are well catered for.
