This was the Japanese Meal selection and I expected more since it was coming from the catering kitchen in Tokyo NRT. The flavors and textures in some of the Bento Box appetizers were odd (slimy and gelatinous more than anything) and the Eel was mealy in texture as if it were overdone. From top left in the Bento Box: Pickled Eggplant and soy-simmered kelp; Milk tofu with salmon roe; Jew's Mallow mixed with grated radish with soy-simmered Enoki mushrooms; Deep-fried chicken with yuzu flavored grated radish; Sweet corn fish cake, prawn and snow pea; Deep-fried pike conger with vinegar jelly. I should have ordered the Western steak option (haha).
