Between about 2 hours after departure and breakfast being served about 2 hours before arrival on this 15 hour flight, these snack baskets were offered as self-serve in the galley. The fruit was so hard and cold that I actually could not eat it. I noticed that once drinks were taken, they were not replaced! Given that the Emirates A380 premium economy cabin seats 50+ people, this is a very weak offering. Most of the bars can be found in snack boxes on domestic US airline flights and aren't really "premium", with the likes of Delta for example offering a better snack basket on US domestic flights in their Comfort class. The bannans were so frozen that I couldn't actually enjoy them and they kind of hurt my teeth, and of the snack baskets I've seen set up on long haul fights, this one was very weak. My juice wasn't picked up by an FA for about 6 hours after I drank it, so then I gave up and left the glass in the galley myself! Not that service in premium cabins that EK seems to promise, a $1k upgrade I expected more. Only better than United Premium Plus in aesthetics and catering, level and amount of service and snack offerings are better on United.

Premium Economy Midflight Snack: Pizza (not sure if it was served) and a set up like this on either side of the galley with bananas, apples, some fruit bars, and a few glasses of juice.
