To preface: this is a 0100 departure on a 3 hour redeye flight. Most people just want to use the 1.5 hours not interrupted by service or descent to sleep, so on late-night redeyes to MSP and ATL, expect 1-3 passes of the snack basket (depending on how many pax are awake) and 1-2 offers for refills. Welcome aboard bottle of water and champagne for 1st class. It is nice on empty flights like this as you get extra pillows, blankets, and bottled water. After departure snack basket with nice offerings (take as much as you wish, really, as they might not be back!) and a drink. Unfortunately, I was the only person of the few in first class who couldn't sleep. And thus, the FAs only made one pass for drinks and snacks. This is understandable, so I am not complaining, only setting realistic expectations. An afternoon flight in 1st class on this route is a totally different experience.
