Business Class

Dinner , Special meal: no
Really a pleasant surprise and a very nice meal. I just flew Delta to Europe 10 days ago and it was the same menu but at that time I chose lamb chops and that meal was a total fail. So, I opted to stay away from that and chose this and was impressed. It is a cold meal but the rice was sushi grade, the tuna maybe had been sitting chilled for a bit long but was tasty, seared rare and had great accompaniments with the ginger and seaweed salad. Was very surprised to see something this adventurous on the menu and was frankly very impressed by how good it really was. To top it off, the current wine selections are some of the best ever. Pol Roger Champagne is one of my absolute favorites and the Bernardus Pinot Noir is a taste stunner at altitude. Delta's sommelier Michelle Bernstein vouches for the Stuhlmuller Chardonnay and it was tasty gut gets a little lost in the fruit forward pinot noir. Overall, a really solid meal with excellent business class wine selections.
