Dinner , Special meal: no
Pre-departure drinks were served. After take-off, flight attendant served warm nuts and drinks. I opted for a cabernet sauvignon. The meal itself was fairly good for airline food. The appetizer was interesting and I would like to see it more often. It was spicy sausage similar to kielbasa served cold on a skewer. The salad was Greek: spinach, feta, and tomatoes. Dinner consisted of beef brisket with steakhouse sauce, American's gruyere mac and cheese, and a baked onion. The entire meal was very good and would like to see this as a pre-order more often. Not pictured was a warm sour dough roll and the dessert was the usual key lime cheese cake which I like.

Equipment: Seat was not very comfortable but this was most likely a former US Airways aircraft. The service items are typical American domestic. Our flight attendant was very good.
