Dinner Salad with dressing, bread rool & butter, salmon with potatoes and vegetables (chicken was the other choice), dessert (Menu Card)
was rather disappointing given AS's past reputation. Hot meal service on all except trans-Continental and long haul Alaska flights is rumoured to disappear soon.

White wine (unidentified but probably a weak insipid U.S. chardonnay)

My first dinner on AS. Salad was a little bit on the small side. The salmon was dry despite being coated with an unidentified coating (florentine spinach?) with sauteed onions and green beans, and potatoes cooked in an undeterminate fashion (boiled than sauted?). Dessert was a small cake you'd think was bought from a supermarket.
