Jain diet meal. Cucumber & Tomato salad. No dressing Mata Paneer, Rice, Chana (chickpea curry). Dessert: Gulab Jamun followed with a couple of aniseed ball sweets

I got the Jain menu completely by chance. I haven't taken up the religion and I doubt I ever will being that they are not allowed any garlic, onion, meat, milk products or eggs. One general comment about the Air Sahara flights I found amusing. Only business class passengers are issued with life jackets. The pasengers in economy are instructed to use their seat cushions for flotation!
