Roll, Salad with Vinagrette Dressing, Warm Pasta
with tomato sauce, and Cheescake for Dessert
It is great to see hot meals return to domestic
business and first class on United. The meal was preceeded by a pre-departure
beverage, cocktail in the air, and a warm moist towelette. The meal was
great, and would have recieved a 10 if the roll was warm. Good job, United!
Raisin Bread with butter
Side Salad with Asian Sesame Vinagrette Dressing and Parmesan Cheese
Entree: Artichoke Ravioli with Tomato Sauce
Dessert: Warm Chocolate Chip Cookie
The purser on this flight was excellent. She kept my
cup full throughout the flight. The bread, salad, and entree were good,
cookie was OK. Other choice was a cold salmon plate, which looked good,
Bluebird Cranberry Juice. No pretzels or snacks (i.e. nuts) are
even served anymore
The cost-cutting measures by United have really
become apparent. If you find a cheaper airline, i.e. Frontier on this
route, there is really no longer a reason to pay more for United. The
fact that you have to pay for this meal when it used to be free, makes
it even worse. Shame on you United!
