business lounge at Lisbon airport, including unlimited self service half
bottles of Ruinart champagne (!!!) and generous food, this good quality
cold meal served at an unusual meal time for portuguese and spanish customers
(6:00 pm) on a very short flight confirms that award winning "Private
Club" of Portugalia really has to be recongnized as one of the best
european in-flight product.

Positive : "Long-haul style" meal with three separate
trays (apero, main meal and dessert), large choice of drinks, courteous
and efficient service by multi-lingual cabin crew. Negative : No hot course
choice, no printed menu, plastic cutlery.
Coffee (other options offered : tea, hot chocolate) and mineral
water (other option offered : orange juice)
Certainly not as attractive as a full hot breakfast, but considering
the short duration of the flight and the low fares policy of CCM Airlines,
such a complementary inflight service (including free local newspapers
and magazines) will soon become a premium product within the european
