Duck salad and seared fish followed by ice cream. Served prior to the dinner were mixed nuts, cheese and dried tomato with sparkling wine.
The duck salad was superb. The same went to halibut (the fish). The entertainment system and its interface were a little outdated. The level of privacy and space wasn't as great as that of Cathay Pacific but the meals were far better.
Butternut squash soup, chicken breast, salad with bell peppers, breadsticks, cookie
Soup was tasty. The salad was very fresh and the chicken breast was moist. Not bad at all. The Dancing Deer cookies Delta serves are not very good though and have become a predictable part of Delta's meal service.
London/Stansted (STN) to Oslo/Rygge (RYG), 2014-02-23
Tortina original (not boght on the plane, Ryanair doesn't sell tortina original)
coffee and tea (3 eur for both)
Tea was tasteless, coffee was horrible! Definitly not a "delicious americano"... both were expensive! Tortina was really good, but since it wasn't bought on board, it doesn't affect the rating. Crew was unprofessional. The landing was one of the worst i've ever experienced: heavy wind, descent was too fast and landing incredibly hard. Some children were screaming too! Oh yeah. Believe me or not, it was that scary. I know the weather was bad, but pilots are trained to deal with these weather conditions. They didn't perform very well here
