Comment: Concorde was an incredible experience. If you
can do this only one way- fly from Heathrow to New York. The take off
is unbelievable and is followed by what appears to be a high speed hand
brake turn! On the ground, BA appears to have down graded the service
level: there was a long line for check in at JFK and the poor Americans
had to queue up as Fast Track (Arrivals) was not provided! The service
in the air was par excellence and that too with a full load! The Asian
Vegetarian meal was poor. Despite being ordered in advance and reconfirmed,
the cooked food as below par and any Indian restaurant- even the flocked
wall paper ones- would have done much better. There again who flies Concorde
for the food?
