Possibly the worst in-flight meal I've ever had. Meals are only complimentary with a higher fare class, and you think there'd be some effort made because of that. But no, the rice and chicken was served in a cardboard box with a little punnet of chocolate mousse (which was actually good) and a choice of one drink.

Equipment: Virgin Australia used to serve economy meals in the standard metal trays, but now it seems to be in a cardboard box which adds to the cheapness of it.
