Beef in gravy with rice and kidney beans for main course; bread roll and two slices of bread; cheese, salami slices and an olive; fairy cake with cream centre

Choice of soft drinks, beer and wine prior to the meal (I chose beer, which was the local Nevskoye variety from St Petersburg) and a choice of tea or coffee during the meal

The meat was bland, even with extra salt added, although the consistency was fine. It wasn't entirely clear what to do with the bread and the cheese/salami box, so I used them to make couple of sandwiches, which were very tasty. The fairy cake was also enjoyable, with the surprise of a cream centre. As for drinks I was impressed that the beer provided was in a full sized 330ml can, rather than the mini-cans found on some airlines. Service was friendly, and the planes seem quiet heavily staffed
