Business Class

Dinner , Special meal: no
Finnair truly fulfills its role as a second tier business class airline. The meals are better on the long-haul flights but the quality and quantity are still on the weak side. But at least some of the courses were edible. I had the Boletus soup to start, which is a bit on the salty side but bread helps. The other option is herrings so no thank you! The salad is plain but okay. The Finnish beef stew is an interesting entree and a bit on the small side with mostly potatoes. Other options are more herring and beef with oyster sauce, which I should have gone for. Cheese course was excellent with two Finnish brand - Peltolan Blue Cheese and Brandy nut, Strong matured milk cheese with brandy and nutty flavor, rhubarb jam. The Pint organic ice cream is an interesting dessert. Breakfast was served 90 minutes prior to arrival but the F/A starts banging stuffs around the galley at 150 minutes prior. The breakfast cards were never fully collected and it was a mess to get everyone's order. The Chinese option of prawn noodles were first gone. I was stuck with the Western Omelet, which is fine. This flight is a bit underwhelming and I am not having too much faith on its upcoming change on March. It is possibly another excuse to cut back on items.

Disorganized service and an average meal
