This is the second meal on the HKG - BNE flight, served around 8pm bne time so it's really a dinner not a refreshment! Fresh seasonal fruit Steamed Chicken, black bean sauce, choy sum, e-fu noodles Baked plum crumble cake and vanilla sauce. You'd hope an oriental airline would do oriental cooking well and Cathay does. A really tasty crowd pleaser. I'd change the fruit for spring roll. Or just add a spring roll and keep the fruit! The cake was really light and fresh tasty. A nice way to round out the meal. Cathay puts to shame a number of other airlines flying this sort of timing where they serve far far less to their economy passengers.
