Route: DEN - STL, 28 Apr 2006
Ticket price: n/a
Flight duration: 1h 45m
Class: business
Aircraft: Canadair CRJ-700
Meal: Snack box - 1 oz. bag deluxe mixed nuts, three green olives in a bag, six slices salami packed in plastic, five onion crostini, processed cheese spread, sun-dried tomato spread, nougat candy
Drink: Pepsi
Comments: The only thing positive I can say about this meal is that the flight attendant who served it was extremely polite and professional. The meal itself is awful - I'm very leery of things like olives and salami being stored in a MRE. These meal boxes are kept on board the aircraft wrapped in cellophane, and opened for service by the F/As on flights where a meal is provided in the front cabin of the very nice CR7 ExPlus aircraft. United calls this cabin First, I'd say at most it should be labeled Business. Anyway - everything except the nuts in this snack box is nasty I didn't eat anything, but kept the nuts. They need to try again. 1 point for the nuts, 0 for the rest.
