Flying from: Hurghada, Egypt HRG to Frankfurt, Germany FRA,
4 August 2003
Flight duration: 4h 30min
Aircraft type & class: B767-300ER, economy
Meal: hot lunch - Potato salad with green bell peppers,
onions,
olives and tuna
Bread roll, butter, 'La Vache Qui Rit' cheese wedge
Beef served with vegetables-tomatoe sauce and rice
Chocolate mousse
Small piece of chocolate
Drink: Softdrinks and juices were free, alcoholic beverages
were
charged for. Coffee and tea.
Comments: The salad and chocolate mousse were quite tasty,
but the
beef with rice was rather boring, though filling. The Egyptian chocolate
(the little yellow thing next to the butter) is very sweet and has a flavour
like it exceeded its shelf life long ago. Still they continue offering it for
years already. Thomas Cook flies in the coffee cream from Germany,
why don't they do the same with the chocolate???
