Comments: This was easily the worst economy meal I have ever had on TG - and I fly them a lot! The soya bean seeds made me feel like I was eating bird seed. The salad tasted awful, and the fish was overcooked and dry. The vegetables were in a watery sauce, and the dessert was very "Asian" and I didn't enjoy it at all. This was the so-called "western" option. Compared to Malaysia Airlines, Thai are being left behind in their food, meal, catering quality in my opinion. "Please lift your game!", Thai Airways, or I'll be changing over to MH very soon. (Interesting to note the little card they placed on the tray to reassure people over the Avian Flu issue - funny that we didn't have any chicken or eggs in the meal though! However, an airline should be professional, and the English grammar on this card was ordinary. You'd expect something like this from a lesser carrier, but not on TG!

Comments: Sorry for the blurry photos. The beer was specially canned for Tha Airways by Singha Beer. Good stuff. The main meal was absolutely delicious. The salad was just spicy and fresh enough and the pork curry was as good as you get in Bangkok restaurants! The dessert was good too. The bread roll was warm. Overall, a very good and satisfying meal.

Comments: Being a mid afternoon domestic short flight, this was very good indeed. The coconut rolls are absolutely fantastic. The cake was terrible, though. Again, the juice was far too sweet for my taste. The lid of the beautiful box could be detached and used as a postcard. Very thoughtful.
