Comments: too expensive, for the offer.
lousy food and lousy service, very unfriendly crew wich makes a long haul trip a living hell.
Why are TAP PORTUGAL crew´s always so old and unpolite? And why do they think that they are superior to other human beings, we are only the passengers that they pay their salary´s.
We deserve to be better treated

it´s a shame that tap crew are so snob, even in executive class they always have that superior look, like if they are in the top of the world. defenetively it´s not worth traveling in executive calss in TAP planes, specially in long hall routes.
7 for food and confort 2 for the crew

Comments: On May 14, 2004 on a business flight from Amsterdam to Lisbon our friend João Ferreira wrote :
"Apparently TAP just decided to start serving only a simple sandwich in all it's medium range flights, with a tiny salad. For me it's a bad move, as their good meals used to be a sort of compensation for their constant delays and bad service."
I couldn't agree more ! The orange juice was of the industrial low cost brand, it took me a whole minute to steady my stomach, sick bag at the ready. Never had the nerve after that to taste the sandwich and mess with it in an attempt to remove all the fat. Besides the haughty self-sufficiency displayed by the cabin crew killed the little appetite i had left.

A meat sandwich with cheese (!?) with a bite of mostard, a surprise for me but not bad. Unfortunatelly the bread was not so fresh. The cake was tasty but very dry. Great package, for the passenger and for the crew.
Drink: Coca-Cola and Tea.
Comments: As I've said before the package is a revolutionary way of making things clean and organized in such a small space, the food is ok for a 1.30h flight.

Comment: I was surprised by TAP - friendly, reliable service throughout - and one of the only airlines that seems to master the effective use of priority tags! Cabin crew were friendly. Service is minimal - as expected for a flight this short - though peanuts or some other small snack would be appreciated in C class.

Ticket price: EUR 905
Flight duration: 7.17 hours
Aircraft type & class: A 310, econom class
Business or leisure trip: leisure
Meal: Breakfast
cheese sandwich, cake
Drink: lukewarm coffee
Comments: TAP is the only non charter-airline which flies nonstop to destinations in Northeast-Brazil as Salvador, Recife and Fortaleza. Other Airlines (AF, IB and even Varig) fly via Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo with domestic conecting flights, which makes the flight much longer. TAP takes advantage of this monopoly. Inflight service was very poor and staff unpolite. On the connecting flight Lissbon-Frankfurt the service and meals has been much better, due to competition on this route.

Ticket price: £116 English pounds
Flight duration: 2 hours
Aircraft type & class: Airbus (not sure which, is A319 one I'm sure it
was something like that) Economy
Meal: Lunch - The main plate consisted of sliced potato and chicken,
with a side dish of more potato in mayonnaise with a slice of lettuce.
A bread roll was included, and a small bit of cake which was sponge and
cherries.
Drink: Orange juice, 7Up and Tea
Comments: "Well I've had better and I've had worse, the chicken was
tasty and the potatos were okay. Although the potato in the mayonnaise
was not too nice. The cake was very sweet and I ate round the cherries
as these didn't taste good. The bread roll was warm but soft not crisp.
The tea was nice and so was the orange juice."
