Flying from: MIA to SAL, 2 June 2003
Ticket price: $880 (ticket was SAL-OSL-SAL, SAL-MIA-SAL is around $350)
Flight duration: 2h30m
Aircraft type & class: Airbus A-320
Meal type: Late afternoon Snack - Crappy nearly unedible Ham Sandwich,
so full of mayo you would love it if you own a mayonnaise factory,
lousy cookie, decent chips.
Drink: J&B scotch
Comments: TACA used to serve good meals up until about 2 years ago,
now it serves the worst meals I have ever tasted on any airline. Serving
no food at all would be better. Next time I'll pack a doggy bag with some
edible stuff. Airplane was also quite dirty inside.
My mother was travelling with me, she ate her sandwich, and her stomach
was later sorry that she did.
