Flight duration: 6 hr 55 min
Aircraft type & class: 777-300 Economy
Meal type: Dinner - Beef stroganoff with pasta and vegetables, ice cream, 2 rolls.
Drink: Beer & nuts for after takeoff drink service. For dinner - A whole can of coke, mineral water
Comments: Cost cutting measures in action - no more cheese & crackers for dinner service and appetiser was substituted with a roll. At least they were generous with the drinks.

Flying from: SIN to DXB, May 2003
Flight duration: 7h 05min
Aircraft type & class: 777ER Economy
Meal type: Mid Flight snack -
Just an apple (image 088)
Drink: Orange juice after takeoff & Water
Comments: Major cost cutting measures on SQ. Only meal served during this 7 hr flight was breakfast 2 hrs before arrival into DXB. I had asked for something to snack on mid-flight and was told sandwiches, crackers and instant noodles were available. I had my noodles, and the crew brought me an apple as well.
Rating 1-10 (worst-best): -10 (no meals till the end of the flight? This is ridiculous)
