Class: Economy (but Business Class seating)
Meal type: Snack
Drink:
Water
Comments: "Uh, they (SQ) dont serve ANYTHING except water or juice on this international flight. I really cant understand how people commend SQ for their product. I find this particular sector one of the worst in the world for such a brand airline."
Rating 1-10 (worst-best): -1 (if its possible)

Class: Business/Raffles
Meal type: Dinner (first of four courses) - Salad with king prawns
Drink: Red Wine
Comments: "The salad was assembled by the cabin attended right in front of my eyes and I could choose from every thing as much as I liked. This was the
kind of service I would expect at First Class but Singapore Airlines has it in the Business Class. The salad and the sauce were great! All this sitting on the top floor of a 747-400 made me feel very comfortable."

Class: Business/Raffles
Meal type: Dinner - Roast rack of lamb with natural jus, roasted vegetables and creamy garlic mash
Drink: Red Wine

Flying from: London LHR to Singapore SIN, 7 October 2002
Class: Economy
Meal type: Lunch - Chicken in black pepper sauce, with vegitables and rice. Plus a salad with a lump of reconstituted undefined meat, coutons, and garlic dressing. A lump of processed cheese, two biscuits, and a roll. Ice cream came along later.
Drink: Water on the tray plus a glass of undefined French Chardonnay.
Comments: "Pretty good for economy. Lots of flavour - and lots of food to play with. The chicken, although a dull choice, was tender, the rice loose, and the veg a good mix of carrots, baby sweetcorn, and green things. Nice salad, with a lovely dressing - but goodness knows what the meat was. It lost me!"
Rating 1-10 (worst-best): 5

Flying from: Singapore SIN to London LHR
Date: 20th October 2002
Class: Business (Raffles)
Meal type: Lunch - Baked Veal Loin with mushrooms-blue cheese crust, sauteed savoy cabbage and fettuccine. Plus a roll.
Drink: All washed down with a Singapore Sling and a glass of piper heidsieck rare cuvee reservee champagne.
Comments: "This is really good - lovely and tender, with a delicate flavour. True, the pasta had obviously been baked in a square container, but wasn't any the worst for that. The drinks menu is amazing in business, with a long cocktail list (The Gin Fizz is a dream), but oddly, only two types of white wine."
