Ticket price: Free (FF Miles)
Flight duration: 1:40
Aircraft type & class: A319 Economy
Business or leisure trip: Business
Meal type: Snack
Contents of the meal: Ham and cheese sandwich. Chocolate biscuits, peanuts.
Drink: Diet Coke (coffee was also served).
Comments: I left more than the half of the tiny sandwich.
The bread was hard and dry. The cookies were good as always. The peanuts
were fresh and crunchy.
Rating 1-10 (worst-best): The meal hardly got a 3 (anyway,
it was a 10:00 am flight, so it was out of the breakfast/lunch service;
at least we got something). The crew was absolutely fantastic. The purser
Mr. Picache or Bicache or something like that spoke great English and
his announcements were clear and professional. Great way to deliver service
by them all. Congrats to the crew of flight MX343/22FEB MEX-CUN

Route: MEX-CUN, 24 Jan 2004
Ticket price: Free (FF miles)
Flight duration: 1:50 hrs.
Aircraft type & class: B757-200, Economy
Business or leisure trip: Business
Meal type: Breakfast
Contents of the meal: Cheese? omelette with salsa and refried beans on
the side (some cheese on top of them). "Orejas" cookies (Fine
Mexican pastry) with chocolate. A bun. Butter and salt. Coffee on request.
Drink: Diet Coke.
Comments: It was just OK. I could't tell what the omelette
was made of. Maybe it wasn't an omelette at all. It wasn't very tasty
either; it needed a bit more of salt. The beans were excellent. The cookies
were amazing (that brand "Marian" is definitely the leader in
freshness and flavour). About the piece of bread I don't have words for
it, so I will repeat what Frasier (from the sitcom of the same name) said
once: "The roll was harder than Hamlet". I thought rocks were
not allowed past security check point. :-)
Rating 1-10 (worst-best): 6. MX can be much more creative
than this.

Flight duration: 5 hours
Aircraft type & class: Economy
Meal type: Dinner - Chicken with Grey Sauce, salad, cookie
Drink: Water (No wine available)
Comments: The sauce appeared to be an attempt at a Mexican
Mole
sauce. It had a bitter aftertase and sesame seeds sprinkled on top.
The salad was iceberg with shredded zucchini. The dressing was orange
"French dressing" like they used to serve in the 50's.
The cookie was very good.
