Route: London Heathrow LHR - Cologne/Bonn CGN, 2 Jul 2006
Ticket price: 50 Euros (99 Return)
Flight duration: 1h 20m
Class: economy
Aircraft: Avro 85 (ARJ/BAe 146)
Meal: Snack (afternoon/evening) - Small ! Roll with cheese and some weird
spread
Drink: 0.25 l Warsteiner Beer
Comments: Ugly. A plasicwrapped soft bun like the pre-baked ones you
have to place in the oven for 5 minutes. Sized like tabletennis-ball
and filled with a slice of cheese, a saladleaf and some suspicious cheesy
spread. Leaves a horrible taste.
Good selection of drinks( coffee, tea, juices, softdrinks, water, beer,
red, white or sparkling wine) even though you can only choose a single
one.
I understand that they only offer limited snacks in economy class and
the choice of beverages is pretty good, but i would not eat that bun
again. Even dry bread would be tastier. Try to get pretzels or nuts or
ANYTHING else.
2.5 because it was a really cheap ticket and they serve something, but
they would get a better rating if they only served the beer or wine without
that roll
Rating 1-10 (worst-best): 2.5

Comments: Very fast, frequent and friendly service
They only use halfsized trays and serve drinks and Rolls/Croissants separatly,
so you have to stow them along with the cutlery beside the tray.
Rolls and Croissants were warm, tasty and very crispy and offerd three
times, packed wholemeal-bread was also availible.
Orangejuice (real gass, no plastic) as was the sparkling wine (though
not champagne). Coffee was ok.
A passenger asked if he could keep the cutlery as a souvenir and got
an unused pack to takeaway.
