Comments: I selected the Chinese cuisine set, and it was served like the Japanese meal in a black lacquered tray. It was really great and the appetizer tray came with a plate of cold dishes, and a bowl of soup. The entrée set came next, with three main dishes. Grilled lobster was really good. The Chinese vegetable roll was next and was basically a wintermelon roll filled with shredded mushroom, snow pea, and carrots, and then there is the braised beef dish. After the meal, it came with fruit plate and the dessert. Fruit plate features pineapple, cantaloupe, orange, kiwi, and strawberry, and then I picked the orange sorbet as dessert. Orange sorbet was too frozen, and then I had a cup of tea, which came with cookies.

Comments: I had the Western dinner. Appetizer is okay, but can use more creativity. The mushroom soup is freshly made and best part of the meal. The beef entree is deliciously cooked -- medium as I request. Dessert is nice.
Breakfast... Chinese congee is the best way to start a morning. I like EVA Air's side dishes a bit better, but CI is not bad. However the meals definitely suffer a few cutbacks from the same flight a few years ago.

Comments: Night flight leaving TPE just before midnight - therefore full dinner more for chinese taste. No hot meal taken. But cold was nice except Japanese Soy Sauce vainaigrette which did not fit my taste. Snack was available at any time in between service. Breakfast was nice. But due to flight to Europe missed some cold cut, cheese and dark bread as welcome to Europe. But quality and quantity was still good. The Chinese breakfast must be very good. Most of Chinese customers asked for second and third time which they served without any complaints.
