Meal: snack - Chicken & Sweetcorn Sandwich
Drink: Beer - Stella Artois
Comments: A typical example of contemporary British cuisine – chicken and sweet corn sandwich (the poor chicken or what’s left of it was of course unrecognizable, the bird apparently perished under tracks of some extra large and heavy vehicle, a bulldozer, perhaps even a tank, then got mashed together with all other ingredients whatever they might have been and spread thinly on the surface of processed American-style bread (. It was edible though barely eatable. But come on, what am I complaining about, not too bad for such a short flight. For beverage I had a can of delicious Stella Artois. The service aboard was excellent, crew friendly, airplane pleasant to fly on as a passanger (those new airbuses are magnificent) and the flight truly enjoyable albeit unfortunately way too short.

- Meal: Chicken Curry, Rice and mini-naan bread, Del Monte apple and grape bites, bread roll, mini Twix bar
- Dessert: Choice of lemon cheesecake or tiramisu (I declined both)
Drink: White Wine & Water
Comments: The business class meal in a box is a very strange concept. It really looks cheap and nasty, and leaves little to wonder why one pays business class fares in Europe anymore! Too much pre-packaged junk - nothing that looked like much care or attention or thought was put into a meal service. Oddly enough, upon alighting in Nice, an airport employee walked by with a meal tray from another airline - business class as it had crockery (and metal cutlery!) and it was nicely presented and looked appetizing - not what I experienced with BMI! The service was good, and the crew were more than pleasant and attentive.

Comments: BMI amaze me every time I fly. The crew and their customer service kicks US carriers in the backside. E.G. a member of crew's bag was in the overhead and she ran to get it out of there so the space could be used by a customer and then helped him with his bag. You never get that in the USA.

Everything was really fresh. Cabin was clean and the crew really smart and professional.
