Flying from: Osaka to Vienna, 9 June 2003
Flight duration: 11 h 30 min
Aircraft type & class: A 330-200, Economy Class
Meal type: Lunch - Japanese Noodles; Tuna Salad; Chicken with
Rice
and Vegetables; Bread Roll(s); Cake; Chocolate.
Drink: Wide range of beverages available.
Comments: Good meal, especially for a flight in economy class,
although
I have already had better (and warmer) chicken aboard a plane. They
offered onigiri around mid-flight and served a nice snack before landing.
All in all, the quantity was really okay and the quality met my
expectations (probably apart from the chicken).

Flying from: Vienna to London, 29 May 2003
Ticket price: £135
Flight duration: approx 1hr40min
Meal type: Lunch - A warm wholegrain baguette filled with ham
and melted cheese, and for desert an austrian berry tart.
Drink: a selection of drinks were avalailable, I chose an apple
juice
Comments: As a small lunch this was perfectly adequate and
filling, if rather limited in variety. I am not a big fan of these tarts, but
the sandwich really was very good, particularly as it was served warm.
