Route: MRU SSR Plaisance, Mauritius - CDG Paris, France, 22 Oct 2005
Ticket price: n/a
Flight duration: 12h 00m
Class: economy
Aircraft: Airbus A340-312, 3B-NBG named Paille-en-Queue
Meal: Dinner and Breakfast - Starter: Chicken Tandoori and coleslaw salad
Main: Indian ocean fish with cocunut milk sauce, mauritian greens and
saffron potato
Dessert: Pineapple and Coconut Entremets
Classic breakfast, this time with the OJ cup.
Drink: Pre-dinner: Mauritian 'Punch des Iles', red wine '6ème sens
2003' OJ, tea
Comments: Very good starter, the fish was tasteless. The refill of the
wine glass was too generous, it's a bit strange to have such full wine
glasses. The cover of the hot meal and the trays are superb. The pre-dinner
drink was not offered, you had to ask for it. I don't like the creamer,
till 2004 you got fresh cream. Still a very good economy class service,
but you can clearly see that they try to save money as all other airlines...

Classic breakfast
Drink: Pre-dinner: Mauritan 'Punch des Iles', red wine '6ème sens

Comments: Flight time: 16:40 - 06:20h
Still a very good economy class food, meal, catering, but if you compare to 2004 you'll
see that there is no more water cup on the plate (no OJ cup on the breakfast
tray) and that the cream has been replaces by ugly creamer.
But they still have the most beautyful trays of the world!

The very nice tray of Air Mauritius. Thanks to my brother who assisted
my in cleaning and storing my stuff and who helped my to take some pictures
also.
Comments: A nice breakfast. The offered additional
rolls and butter to

Comments: "Quite a substantial meal. White sauce
with a tomato puree sounds messy, but actually tasted delicious. I love
the idea of serving the meals on colonial-verranda-style trays, laid with
scenic photos of Mauritius. Even the salt, pepper, sugar, & moist
