Meal type: Refreshment/Very light snack - No tray service on this short
hop between Rome and Nice, taking roughly 50 minutes in the air.
The friendly cabin crew member offered the usual assortment of
Provencal treats that Air Littoral offers as an accompaniment to
beverage service to its passengers. In this case I had a small bag of
savouries and assorted sweets. Shown are the Calisson d'Aix (sort of
oval marzipan coated in icing) and amande choco-praline.
Drink: Apple juice.
Comments: "Nice and friendly service, with definitely a touch of the
destination you're going to reach. Pity they don't serve any more - as
they did up to a few months ago - individual champagne bottles (Cordon
Rouge). Unfortunately cost savings are progressing very quickly in the
travel industry."
