Flight duration: 4h 00m
Class: economy
Aircraft: 737 N851AM
Meal: Dinner - Teriyaki Chicken?? with rice, carrots, spinach, peppers
salad with iceber lettuce, olives, and mozarella cheese with house dressing
kit kat bar (under the main meal), bread, coconut cake for dessert
Drink: Orange Juice

Comments: the food was really good. chicken was really tender, salad was fresh and the house dressing tasted pretty good. I loved the coconut cake, it was soft and moist!

FA's were nice and service was great.

That same day I flew from Culiacan (CUL) to MEX. FOr the CUL-MEX segment they offered us a continental breakfast in Y. It consisted of watermelon, grapes, and melon. also it came with a muffin which tates pretty good. Didnt take a pic since i left my camera phone in the overhead compartment.

On 3/10/06, I flew GDL to CUL on Aerolitoral (XA-KLI), they offered japanese peanuts with a drink. good enough for a flight just over an hour. JUNGLE JETS ARE AWESOME

Check out my over meal pic with mexicana. It was my first time flying mexicana. Overall, i liked AM more. they offer more food and overall service is better, in my opinion. So i guess i'll be sticking with AM now.

Route: HMO - MEX, 28 Jul 2005
Ticket price: n/a
Flight duration: 2h 15m
Class: economy
Aircraft: Boeing 737-700
Meal: Breakfast - Egg-potato lasagna with mini franks on the side basked in what seemed to be Magi sauce. Also, Fruit salad with watermelon, pineapple and canteloupe. Bread and butter and a chocolate muffin to top it off.
Drink: Orange juice (Jumex)
Comments: Drinks are anything from milk to apple juice to water, I think alcoholic beverages are charged a nominal fee. The meal is free (technically, since its not a seperate fee as in most US airlines). The hot stuff is always very good. Sometimes you'll get a croisant with ham. I'd rate the salad and the muffins a 7 though. Otherwise very good overall.

Ticket price: $600 (GRR-ATL-MEX-AGU; AGU-MEX-DFW-CVG; CVG-GRR… A 3-point trip)
Flight duration: 2 hours 40 minutes
Aircraft type & class: MD-87 Clase Premeir (Premium cabin)
Business or leisure trip: Business
Meal type: Breakfast
Contents of the meal: Selection of fresh fruit, sweet bread. Green chiaquiles with chicken, cream and grated Panela cheese. Offered with refried beans. Hot crossiant arrived later (not in picture, but it was gone).
Drink: Diet Coke with lime
Comments: Really good. AM always surprises me with their breakfasts and this is no exception. I had empty plate syndrome. What was weirder - I was the only person in Clase Premeir, so I could have had extra meals and tried the other option for breakfast (Mushroom and poblano chile omelette) but this was really good. Good job Aeromexico.

Comments: Not really a fruit platter person so I left that uneaten, but the bran muffin was pretty good, and the accompanying coffee was pretty good too...however, when I tried to order my drink, I attempted to do so in Spanish, saying exactly what you see in the drink column, but I got a "huh" from the f/a...On MX, whom I had flown a day previously DEN-MEX, the f/a's there understood my rusty Spanish just fine...

Drink: Diet Coke
Comments: It was good and tasty and extremely well presented with linen and metal cutlery (except for knives of course). The best part was dessert. It all was really yummi.

Flying from: Los Angeles, CA to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, 28 June 2003
Flight duration: 2 Hours, 55 Minutes
Aircraft Type: MD-88
Class: Class Premiere (First Class)
Meal: Lunch - Turkey Croissant with Pesto Mayo served with chilled
Tomato Wedges and a Three Pepper Salad. Chocolate Mousse for dessert
Drink: 2000 Chateau Carignan Bordeaux with meal; El Presidente Mexican
Brandy apertif
Comments: While the meal itself was a throwback to "tourist" class meals
from the 1980's and early-90's, the wine offered was well above-par.
The offering of several high-end tequilas, agave and mexican brandy
was a nice touch.
A footnote about the tempting menu of choices that was passed out prior
to the meal; none of the sumptuous options were on board our flight.
The actual meal offered paled in comparison to what the menu offered.
Tempting us menus with flaunting much more elegant entrees than we
were actually served cheapened our experience.

Meal: Breakfast - Pancakes with half of a canned peach, fruit salad, blueberry muffin, and soft roll.
Drink: Coffee or juice/soft drink.
Comments: "It actually wasn't that bad. The pancakes were a little bit rubbery, but not completely inedible. I think the fruit salad, muffin, and soft roll saved it though."
