Airlinemeals.net forum rules
1. Nobody shall suffer discrimination, particularly on grounds of origin, race, sex, age, language, social position, lifestyle, religious, philosophical or political convictions, or because of a corporal or mental disability. Such posts will be deleted and the moderators will decide about further steps, going from warnings to bans or legal actions. These sanctions apply to all points bellow.
2. Please respect each other and choose your words wisely. Each user has his own point of view, and these views must be respected. If you have a problem with another user or if you dislike a thread or post and are able to show that it violates a rule, please contact the forum moderators about the issue.
3. You agree that you will not use this discussion forum to post any statement which is knowingly false, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, graphic, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy or otherwise in violation of any law.
4. As we have no age restrictions, make sure that all the posted content is appropriate to minors as well.
5. You are allowed to quote or link extern websites, movies and/or pictures. You are however responsible to respect eventual copyrights. The content of linked or quoted websites, movies and/or pictures have to respect our forum rules. Additionally, make sure that the linked or quoted websites, movies and/or pictures do not contain inaccurate stuff apart of what you quote or link.
6. Alternatively you can link the picture, video or text directly without making a link to the site. In every case, make sure not to violate any copyrights.
7. Do not post advertisements for web pages, chain letters, pyramid schemes, virus warnings, online casinos or any other commercial institution. This includes your personal signature. The moderators decide in border-line cases.
8. Do not post media releases one to one. We are here to discuss, so you are invited to initiate discussions. A simple press release “Air Whatever starts daily services to Australia” or “New uniforms for Air Lalala” does not necessarily initiate a discussion. Please select interesting parts of the media release and tell what you want the forum members to discuss about.
9. Post in the correct forum and never post the same topic in more than one section. The moderators are allowed to move topics in the right section.
10. Check with the search function if your topic has not been entered already. If the topic exists already, continue discussion there instead of starting a new topic.
11. Please use the relevant heading for your topics. The topic of your thread should therefore be as detailed as possible. Do not use general headers like “funny story”, “look at this”, “Boeing 777” or “Does this ever happened to you”. Example: Instead of writing “A380” chose “Successful first flight of the A380” or “have you ever experienced food poisoning?” instead of “Oh my God” or “Really bad flight”.
12. You’re only allowed to register one username. Please think carefully before choosing your username as it cannot be changed in the future. You do have the ability however to change any or all of the personal information contained in your user profile and you are invited to keep these information actual.
13. You are responsible to provide a valid email address in your personal profile. Your account may be suspended if we are not able to get in touch with you. Also, posts with false email addresses will be deleted.
14. If you have personal questions to an other forum member, do this via private message, as the other members are not concerned. All rules in this guideline also apply to the PM. If you receive an abusive PM, don’t hesitate to contact the moderators.
15. The moderators reserve the right to delete, without explanation and entirely at our discretion, any post, thread or user for any or no reason.
16. Posts containing information on how to carry out an illegal act will be deleted.
17. The messages in this discussion forum express the views of their author and not necessarily that of Airlinemeals.net.
18. We reserve the right to reveal your identity (or whatever information we know about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you.
19. Your IP address is logged and we reserve the right to track you using this information in the case of any pressing concern.
These rules have been approved by the Airlinemeals.net board during the Airlinemeals.net symposium in Vienna, August 13th 2005.
