I only gave this meal a 9 due to the excellent specially
mixed drink known as the "Cathay Delight" a special of this
airline. They mix coconut juice with kiwi fruit juice and mint shavings
for a delightful frothy experience. Otherwise the meal was substandered
for a Business Class meal (they had no First Class section on that plane.) |

The salad was fresh, but the raspberry vinaigrette
was a bit too sweet and fruity. A simpler dressing would be better. The
smoked salmon was good. The beef was a bit too sweet with the pineapple.
It was tender though. The mussel and scallop was a bit bland. The saffron
noodles were ok. What saved this meal was that they used real metal knives!! |
